The family wish to thank his work family ~ Nick, Cody, and his other co-workers~ for their support, care, and encouragement. He was employed for the last several years by Smokey Mountain Wine and Spirits. He was able to connect with people from all walks of life ~ as evidenced in his work in the retail liquor industry for many years. Andy had an affinity for the arts, theatre, music, and travel. A 1998 graduate of Central High School, Andy went on to receive his Associates Degree in Audio Video Production at Pellissippi State College. The loss of his beloved Grandfather in 1993 and Grandmother in1996 deeply affected Andy for the remainder of his life. And many, many more friends were made throughout his school years and beyond.

Andy was a lover of nature and all animals. He was instilled with a lifelong love of sports –notably, baseball (particularly the Atlanta Braves), basketball, and football (collegiate and professional). It was there that Andy formed an extraordinary bond with his Grandfather, as well as his Grandmother. In 1985, Andy, his mother, and brother moved to Morristown, TN and lived with his grandparents, Ed and Louise Tucker. Andy was a precocious and very bright boy. Born in Spokane, Washington the second son of Robin and Greg Young, Andy was an adventurous child who wanted to keep up with his brother, Josh, who is 6 1/2years older. A kind and tender soul who left this world far too soon. Beloved son, brother, and faithful friend to all who knew him.
